The National Parks, het Drents-Friese Wold and het Dwingelder Veld, are only 500 meters away and offers a true paradise for every horseman and woman with hundreds of miles of long winding sandy paths and gently rolling hillsides where you can ride for hours on end.
Here you can enjoy unspoilt nature from the back of a horse and ride through a changing landscape of heathland, dense forest and sand drifts.
And well known to many riders is the “achtbaan” (rollercoaster). This is a very narrow and twisting trail through the woods where you gallop up and down the hills. An absolute highlight for the more experienced rider ! (see video}
